First installation of the app

  1. Download and install the Google Authenticator app from the Apple Store (in order to use Google Authenticator on iPhone, iPod Touch or iPad, you must have iOS 13.0 or later).
  2. Open the app and click "Start” and then “Create your first account”.

  3. Click 'Scan a data matrix' and use the device's camera to scan the QR code https://aap.univr.it/UNIVRMfaQr/qr

  4. When the account "UniVR_MFA\XXXX" appears, click "Add account". The first TOTP code associated with the newly created account will then appear.

If the app has already been installed

  1. Open the app and select [three dots] then + Add Account.
  2. Click "Scan a data matrix" and use your device's camera to scan the QR code https://aap.univr.it/UNIVRMfaQr/qr

  3. When the account "UniVR_MFA\XXXX" appears, click "Add account". The first TOTP code associated with the newly created account will then appear.

How to generate TOTP codes for authentication

  1. Open the App
  2. Select the Univr MFA account: this will display the TOTP code to be used (the icon on the right indicates the time remaining until the TOTP code expires).
