First installation of the app

  1. Download and install the Google Authenticator app from the Apple Store (to use Google Authenticator on iPhone, iPod Touch or iPad, you must have iOS 13.0 or later).
  2. Open the app, click 'start' and then select Create your first account
  3. Press 'Scan a QR code' and use your device's camera to scan the code generated on the site https://aap.univr.it/UNIVRMfaQr/qr
  4. When the account "UniVR_MFA\XXXX" appears, click "Add Account". The first TOTP code associated with the newly created account will then appear.

If the app has already been installed

  1. Open the app, select the '+' button at the bottom right, then click 'Add Account'
  2. Press "Scan QR code" and use your device's camera to scan the code generated on the site https://aap.univr.it/UNIVRMfaQr/qr
  3. When the account "UniVR_MFA\XXXX" appears, click "Add Account". The first TOTP code associated with the newly created account will then appear.

How to generate TOTP codes for authentication

  1. Open the App
  2. Select the Univr MFA account: this will display the TOTP code to be used (the circular image on the right indicates the time remaining until that TOTP code expires).
