Activity

The Teaching and Student Services Head Office provides a wide range of services aimed at supporting students in their university life, from choosing their degree programme to applying for their first graduate job. The Head Office also supports teaching departments in proposing and designing study programmes and modules, enhancing their international outlook, and manages all the services for both prospective and enrolled students.

The Head Office is comprised of six units which have the dual purpose of interacting with students by providing them with a tailor-made service during the entire degree programme, and providing teaching staff with the support they need to develop study programmes and draft the relevant teaching regulations.

The Head Office has the function of checking and monitoring all the information published on the University’s web pages for students, and ensuring that it is up-to-date, clear and consistent.

The Teaching and Student Services Head Office also manages communication between the University and students through a range of differentiated communication tools, so as to convey the relevant information to specific groups of students where appropriate, based on contents.

Director's Operational units

Study Programmes Unit
This unit is involved in:
  • Assisting with the writing and maintenance of the university’s internal teaching regulations.
  • Coordinating the three areas dedicated to first and second level tertiary education, helping the university’s departments, schools, teaching committees and degree programme contact staff to establish study programmes and create and modify the corresponding regulations.
  • Supporting the three groups and corresponding teaching units in managing the MIUR database of study programmes and list of all the degree courses (Sua-CdS).
  •  Assisting the process of internationalising our study programmes and helping to set up agreements with foreign universities.
Equal Access to Education Unit
This unit is responsible for managing:
  •  Tuition and fees.
  •  Prizes and incentives for top students/graduates and the 150-hour work experience scheme.
  •  Scholarships for equal access to education.
  •  Funding for cultural, sports and recreational activities for students.
  •  Maintaining working relations with ESU and the Veneto regional administration concerning equal access to education.
  •  Maintaining relations with the Italian financial police (Guardia di Finanza) regarding students’ financial situations.
Supporto Esse3

La struttura fornisce un supporto a tutta la Direzione presidiando le attività connesse alla configurazione ed erogazione dei servizi online in ESSE3, tenendo i rapporti con il fornitore della procedura informatica di gestione delle carriere studenti e DSIT, promuovendo soluzioni funzionali e innovative in un'ottica di semplificazione delle procedure.

Nello specifico la struttura:

  • presidia le attività connesse alla gestione delle tasse per tutte le tipologie di corsi di studio
  • fornisce un supporto informatico ai processi didattici 

promuovendo soluzioni funzionali e innovative in un'ottica di semplificazione delle procedure.

Portale Esse3

La piattaforma Esse3 è un sistema informatico utilizzato in UNIVR per la gestione dei servizi di segreteria e didattica degli studenti.

Il Supporto Esse3 fornisce assistenza ai docenti e al personale tecnico-amministrativo in caso di malfunzionamenti del sistema ed elabora procedure e guide relative ai vari processi gestiti da Esse3. Gli studenti, in caso di problemi relativi alla propria carriera o problemi con GIA, SPID e CIE, devono rivolgersi rispettivamente alla propria segreteria didattica o al proprio servizio/supporto informatico

Il personale interno dell’Ateneo, solo relativamente alle procedure utilizzate dalle UO della Direzione Offerta formativa, Segreterie e Studenti, potrà contattare la struttura per richiedere supporto tecnico connesso alle attività didattiche tramite email a supporto.esse3@ateneo.univr.it.

Our group is involved with:
  • Supporting decisions on the teaching of short master's courses, advanced courses and professional development courses by the Postgraduate Committee, the relevant departments and the central bodies of the university.
  • Supporting study programme contact staff in setting up, managing and monitoring postgraduate courses.
  • Ensuring links with the USR and MIUR for university courses that are within the institutional framework of in-service training for teachers at all school levels.
  • Planning and managing work guidance activities and promoting meetings between jobseekers and employers.
Humanities, Economics and Law group
The Humanities, Economics and Law group is responsible for:
  • Assisting department directors, teaching committee chairs and degree programme contact staff with study programmes and the management of teaching for Humanities, Economics and Law.
  •  Carrying out quality assurance for study programmes and the teaching within Humanities, Economics and Law.
  •  Managing the academic records of first- and second-level tertiary students in Humanities, Economics and Law.
  •  Running the help desk for students.
Medicine Group
Our group is responsible for:
  • Assisting the School of Medicine and Surgery, teaching committee chairs and degree programme contact staff with study programmes and managing the teaching programmes for this group.
  • Carrying out quality assurance for study programmes and the teaching within this group.
  • Helping the School of Medicine and Surgery maintain relations with local and regional authorities of the National Health System, especially the integrated university hospital, to ensure university courses are in line with the planning and implementation policies implemented by local, regional and national health authorities.
  • Managing the academic records of students taking first- and second-level programmes in the School of Medicine and Surgery and Exercise Science.
  • Cultivating relations with all the internal and external people involved in medical postgraduate specialisation programmes/residencies.
  • Managing the academic records of students enrolled in medical postgraduate specialisation programmes/residencies and developing related services.
  • Running the help desk for students.
